Liz, originally from Vienna (Austria), has travelled widely and loves all aspects of nature, especially the vastness of the ocean, the mysteries of the mountains and the remote areas in foreign countries. Liz worked for 15 years with aid & development projects in Nepal, while also being based in Scotland (by the sea of course!). She has a deep interest in understanding other cultures and how people communicate. Working with Crossing Borders Education is a great opportunity to be involved and learn more about how young people from different backgrounds are growing together to shape and build the future. One insight – “where language fails, shared music, laughter and tears will succeed – they are the great connectors that transcend all barriers and reach deeply into our hearts where we know The Other”.
