The most important trip you may take in life is meeting people halfway.Henry Boye
This intercultural package supports domestic and migrant youth to leave their comfort zones, interact openly with each other, and learn cross-cultural skills in short and targeted peer-to-peer dialogues. By using film clips that tell compelling intercultural stories, participants will develop more emotional buy-in to abstract concepts such as stereotypes or cross-cultural communication and improve their English language skills along the way.
Many students genuinely seek inspirational learning. But how often do we actually witness students from diverse social and cultural backgrounds learning from each other and through those mirrors also learn about themselves? It requires intentional activities to support that deeper level of transformative learning and enable the development of key skills such as empathy, curiosity, critical thinking, conflict mediation and global awareness.
The following intercultural sessions and activities are suggested formats that can be easily custom tailored to specific needs and diverse contexts. You may also be interested in the concept behind this toolkit.
