It is through the mirror of others that we learn to know ourselves.Stella Ting-Toomey
This cross-cultural toolkit is created to support teacher trainings to prepare their students for the increasing diversity within our educational institutions, society and interconnected world. It is designed to support future teachers to learn intercultural skills, grow their social awareness and interact openly with students of diverse ethnic and socio economic backgrounds around the topics of intercultural film clips. The three intercultural sessions are suggested formats for short and targeted student interactions that can be easily custom tailored to your institution’s specific needs and contexts. They are designed as awareness exercises where the student learning happens predominantly through first-hand experiences of intentional peer-to-peer interactions.
