Experience deep connections around CBE’s feature documentary film ‘American Textures’
THE OPPORTUNITY
Most of us feel deeply concerned about the pressing global issues of our time and feel the need to communicate better, also across borders. Many of us can feel isolated in our care and are longing for meaningful social connections and a desire for (more) collective actions. To meet this challenge Tec de Monterrey and Crossing Borders Education (CBE) are facilitating a special workshop so you can deeply connect with caring people.
The short trailer (2min) below shows the depth of connection and community building skills we are fostering with our peer dialogue programs.
THE INVITATION
Through our Human Bridges Platform, we invite you to join this special workshop that centres around CBE’s award winning documentary film ‘American Textures’.
The programme will look like this:
Pre-film workshop of an hour
Screening of the film
Post-film workshop of an hour
The sessions give you a safe space to share, connect and build character strengths and life skills.
You will have the opportunity to learn how to dialogue, how to really listen and intentionally share in a small group with your fellow students.
DIALOGUE PROCESS
We facilitate these online sessions in small groups of 3-4 participants in order to experience the depth, vulnerability, and courage necessary to nurture empathic dialogues across differences. All of our sessions are structured around dialogue agreements to create a safe environment for empathic interactions. This method is developed by Crossing Borders Education (CBE), an international non-profit organisation for personal transformation and dialogue across differences.
